Glen Waverley Golf Course Adjacent Dog Off Leash Area
Waverley Rd &, Jells Rd, Wheelers Hill, VIC
The Glen Waverley Golf Course Adjacent Dog Off Leash Area is a sprawling, open-access green space situated in a suburban setting next to a golf course and a significant tennis complex. The park is characterized by its vast, flat, mown grass fields that offer a large space for dogs to exercise and socialize. While the primary areas are kept short, some sections feature longer grass and clover, providing different textures for dogs to explore. The perimeter is lined with a dense border of mature eucalyptus and other trees, which provide substantial natural shade, although the central activity areas remain largely open to the elements. Based on the visual evidence, the area is unfenced, relying on its natural boundaries and distance from roads. There are no visible specialized facilities such as agility equipment, dedicated water stations, or waste bag dispensers within the frames. However, a large paved parking lot is conveniently located at the adjacent sports facility. The overall atmosphere is tranquil and spacious, making it an ideal spot for long-distance fetching and off-leash roaming in a naturalistic environment.

Great new amenities. The club have done a great job with the new tennis & golf venue. Course was in pretty good condition, so all in all a good day at Glen Waverley.
Just a basic off leash area. It's never busy, but it's not fenced and has the driveway on one side and the main road on the other. So only recommended if your dog has good recall. I regularly conduct training sessions there, and other …
