Brightwater Dog Park
Sporting Field, 21-27 Heliconia St, Mountain Creek, QLD
Brightwater Dog Park is a spacious and well-equipped recreational area featuring dedicated fenced off-leash zones for dogs. The park offers a large, flat grassy expanse perfect for running and fetch, complemented by basic agility equipment like an A-frame ramp. For owners, there are several amenities including covered picnic shelters with tables, benches, and nearby BBQ facilities. The park is well-integrated into a larger community space that includes a children's playground and large open sports fields. A concrete perimeter path provides easy accessibility for walkers and cyclists. Natural shade is provided by mature trees scattered throughout the area, while man-made structures offer additional sun protection. The park also features proximity to a sandy beach area where dogs can interact with the water. The presence of multiple fenced sections suggests separate areas for different dog sizes or temperaments. Overall, it is a clean, well-maintained, and versatile environment for both pets and their owners to enjoy outdoor activities.

A nice big dog park with some agility obstacles for dogs. No separate area for small dogs.

Although I don't find dog parks the most suitable place for my dachshund, I can understand the convenience of having them. Brightwater is one of the bigger and better ones I've been to. It's close to a large oval and has walking trails nearby. Although they are not leash free, they are a nice alternative to the dog park.
Great size but these parks need more old growth trees for better shade
