Pearson Park On-Lead Dog Exercise Area

22 Cromarty Rd, Soldiers Point, NSW

3.9(7 reviews)

Pearson Park On-Lead Dog Exercise Area offers a diverse natural environment for dogs and their owners to explore. The area features a mix of coastal and parkland settings, providing a variety of sensory experiences. One section includes a serene beach along a calm body of water, likely a bay or inlet, bordered by mature trees that provide ample natural shade. Another part of the park opens up to a more expansive ocean beach with rolling waves and wide sandy shores, perfect for long walks. Inland, the park transitions into lush greenery with grassy fields and a small, tranquil pond surrounded by dense thickets of trees, including eucalyptus. The terrain is relatively flat with some gentle slopes near the water's edge and dunes. While the images highlight the beautiful natural scenery and large open spaces, they do not show specific man-made facilities such as fencing, benches, or waste stations. As an on-lead area, it provides a scenic backdrop for controlled exercise amidst Australia's coastal beauty, offering both shaded woodland paths and sunny beach stretches.

Sadly there are far too many people who disregard the fact this park is “On leash” Please dont expect sympathy if your yapper gets eaten by my dog if theyre off leash and come up yapping at him.

Great place to watch the sun set over the water, one of the few places you can do that on the east coast. Thats way we call it sunset beach.
