George Reserve On-Lead Dog Exercise Area

George Reserve is a picturesque coastal dog exercise area situated in Port Stephens, New South Wales. The park offers a diverse landscape, featuring expansive grassy fields that transition into sandy beach areas along the waterfront. Key facilities include a BBQ station with a small protective roof, conveniently placed trash cans, and a dedicated dog waste bag dispenser. The terrain is mostly level with gentle slopes leading down to the shore. Although it provides a large open space for exercise, it is specifically designated as an on-lead area. Natural shade is abundant, provided by various mature trees, including eucalyptus, which are scattered across the reserve. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and scenic, with clear views of the bay, boats, and distant hills. A parking area is located right next to the reserve for easy access. There is no evidence of secure fencing for dogs, nor are there separate areas for different dog sizes or any agility equipment.
