Werrington dog off-leash area is a spacious and well-maintained facility located in a picturesque setting. The park features expansive, open grassy fields that provide ample room for dogs to run and play freely. It is securely enclosed with high-quality black chain-link fencing, ensuring a safe environment for off-leash activities. The terrain is predominantly flat with some gentle slopes, and the ground surface is a mix of lush grass, dirt paths, and gravel areas. Natural shade is abundant, provided by numerous mature trees bordering the fields, and there are also man-made structures offering relief from the sun. A standout feature of the park is its proximity to a scenic lake filled with reeds, which adds to the tranquil and natural atmosphere. For human visitors, the park offers paved walking paths and large sandstone blocks that serve as sturdy, natural seating. A children's playground is also visible nearby, just outside the fenced dog area, making it a family-friendly destination. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and open, catering well to both high-energy dogs and owners looking for a scenic walk.

Nice space but not safe for off leash dogs as stipulated as it isn’t fenced. No bins or water for dogs either. No parking and runs along a main road

Decent place to spend an hour or two exercising or just walking with your pet. There is a flock of wild ducks and some gees living on the lake. Plenty of parking, covered playground, public toilets and BBQ area.

Nice big park. A bit scary walking through the wooded areas and we couldn't find the off leash dog park area so we just let out boy loose out in the field. …
