North St Marys dog off-leash area

Boronia Rd, North St Marys, NSW

4.2(39 reviews)

The North St Marys dog off-leash area, also identified by signage as part of the St Clair Dog Park, is a sprawling and versatile facility designed for canine exercise and socialization. The park is characterized by its vast, open grassy fields that provide ample space for dogs to run and play freely. It is securely enclosed with chain-link fencing and features a double-gated entry system for added safety. The facility includes separate designated areas for large dogs, as indicated by on-site signage. For physical stimulation, the park offers agility equipment, including a visible A-frame ramp. Human visitors can find comfort on several park benches scattered throughout the area, and a man-made shelter provides shade alongside mature trees. The ground surface is primarily grass, with some dirt or gravel patches in high-traffic sheltered zones. Adjacent to the dog-specific sections, there is a fenced children's playground and a public toilet block, making it a convenient spot for families. The park's atmosphere is open and suburban, with high-voltage power lines visible overhead.

Not the best conditioned/maintained dog park. Twice I have been when visiting family and those 2 times I have been grass was a bit high for my liking and the poo bag dispenser empty. …

Disappointed that the folks that bring their dogs here do not pick up their dogs poo. The small dog area is a bloody minefield. At Bungaribee you don't get that. Sucks as this and Hebersham would be my closest dog spots and if the crap wasn't so damn bad, I'd definitely choose north St marys

This Dog park is a great facility for dog owners. Also, there is a separate area for small and large dogs which makes it more convenient for dogs. Only suggestion to the council / survice provider is to clear grass more often during summers.

Great new facility for dog owners to enjoy..... will be great once trees are more established for more shade but I highly recommend this place

The place is actually really nice compared to the other dog areas in the suburb. However what gives it a 3 star is that the bins never get taken out so it STINKSSSS and you can’t sit at the tables without a whiff of the bins and dog poo …
