Canley Vale Dog Off-Leash Area

95 Railway Pde, Canley Vale, NSW

4.2(42 reviews)

Canley Vale Dog Off-Leash Area offers an expansive and functional space for local residents and their pets. The park is characterized by a very large, open grassy field that provides ample room for dogs to run and play freely. Mature trees are scattered throughout, offering significant patches of shade, particularly around the seating areas where simple metal benches are provided for owners. The ground surface is a mix of well-maintained grass in the open sections and more worn dirt patches under the heavy shade of the trees. Perimeter fencing, consisting of black metal pickets or chain-link, helps define the boundaries and provides a level of security from adjacent roads. Beyond the dedicated off-leash zone, the wider park area includes a modern children's playground with various climbing structures and slides. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, serving as a popular community hub for exercise and socialization. While basic in its facilities, the sheer size of the open space is its primary draw for dog owners in the area.

Dog park is great, but it is not fenced off and your dog can escape to the other side, or worse get injured from the dirty river which is full of rats. Park itself is big but poorly maintained why people don't pick up after themselves is …

Large, open grass area that was surprisingly clean. Water, tidy bags, bin, seating and parking spaces available.

Big dog park but it’s not fenced where the river is. Which means dogs have access to the river… not so great when your dog is an explorer!

It's a real nice doggy park there's one big big problem. The didn't put fence on one side which is fine because the creek no dog (maybe) won't be able to cross but the long grass and bushland is home of many snakes so I personally don't want my dog to go the bush area and risk getting bitten by snake.
