Dog Exercise Area - Brunswick Heads Main Beach

S Beach Rd, Brunswick Heads, NSW

4.7(12 reviews)

The Dog Exercise Area at Brunswick Heads Main Beach is a stunning, expansive coastal space located where the river meets the sea in New South Wales, Australia. This natural off-leash area offers a vast stretch of soft, golden sand and shallow ocean waters, providing dogs with ample room to run, swim, and socialize. The atmosphere is serene and scenic, characterized by beautiful sunrises, clear blue waters, and lush green coastal vegetation. The ground surface is entirely natural, consisting of wide sandy beaches and the tidal shoreline. There is no formal fencing to contain the dogs, though low-wire fencing is present in some areas to protect the sensitive sand dunes and native flora. Facilities such as water stations, benches, trash cans, and toilets are not visible in the immediate beach area shown in the images, suggesting a 'leave no trace' environment where visitors should come prepared. The area is characterized by its large, open space and lack of man-made structures like agility equipment or playgrounds, making it ideal for owners seeking a raw, natural exercise experience for their pets.

Love this long beach great for doggies exercise. Nice and clean water and fine sand. We take a regular trip at least one a month from the Gold Coast.
