Jan Hammond Dog Park

Bartram Rd, Success, WA

4.5(114 reviews)

Jan Hammond Dog Park is a sprawling, well-maintained off-leash destination located in a suburban setting. The park is defined by its vast, lush green lawns that offer extensive space for dogs to run at full speed. Complementing the open fields are sections with mature eucalyptus trees and native vegetation, providing plenty of natural shade and a more rugged, naturalistic environment for exploration. The entire area is securely enclosed with high-quality metal fencing; notably, there appear to be separate fenced zones, including one with a distinctive white picket-style fence. For active dogs, the park features basic agility equipment like a wooden ramp and a hoop. Human amenities include paved pathways for easy accessibility, scattered seating such as benches and chairs, and conveniently placed trash cans for waste disposal. The landscape is primarily flat with some gentle undulations, making it easy to navigate. While the park is bordered by residential housing and utility infrastructure, the sheer size and variety of terrain—from manicured grass to mulched wooded areas—create a versatile and inviting atmosphere for both pets and their owners.

Nice dog/kids area, both for small and big dog (separated). Some owners should be more mindful about the aggressiveness of their dogs before leaving them off the leash

2 separate enclosures, one for big dogs, one for small dogs, lots of fun for doggies, enough car parks. Great place! No toilets.

It's great until big dog owners bring their dogs into the small dog enclosure.
