Fremantle Groyne
Unnamed Road, South Fremantle, WA
The Fremantle Groyne dog park is a versatile coastal recreation area located in Western Australia, offering a variety of environments for dogs and their owners. The site features a long, sandy groyne path that extends into the ocean, providing a scenic route for leashed or off-leash walks with water on both sides. Adjacent to the groyne is a wide sandy beach where dogs can run freely and swim in the clear, calm waters of the Indian Ocean. Further inland, the park includes a large, well-maintained grassy field bordered by mature trees, offering ample space for fetch and high-energy play. While the area is not fully enclosed by fencing, it is a designated off-leash zone. Facilities include a small shaded garden area with a unique wooden bench and rock table, and a public building that likely houses toilets. The ground surfaces are a mix of sand, dirt, and grass. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and open, making it a popular spot for local pet owners to enjoy the sea breeze and expansive views of the nearby marina.

One hour round trip walk from downtown Fremantal. It is a good walking and exercise course.
This afternoon, walking along the 1 km long of wave breaker of Fishing Boat Harbour was fun and relaxing. There were a lot of dogs enjoying their activities here too! Anyway, it's a nice place to enjoy the walk. Cheers!
