Elcar Park Dog Exercise Area
200 Winton Rd, Joondalup, WA
Elcar Park Dog Exercise Area is a comprehensive facility featuring multiple zones designed for canine activity and socialisation. The park includes a dedicated fenced off-leash area with a varied terrain consisting of grass, sand, and wood-chip mulch surfaces. A highlight of the facility is the specialized agility section, which contains equipment such as an A-frame ramp and hurdles on a sandy base. For the comfort of both pets and owners, the park provides significant natural shade from mature trees, as well as a permanent covered picnic pavilion with bench seating. Practical amenities are well-integrated, including multiple communal water bowls, trash cans, and paved concrete walking paths that navigate through the space. The presence of high-intensity floodlighting indicates the park is accessible for evening use. While the dog-specific areas are securely fenced with chain-link borders, the wider park environment also features large open sports fields and a children's playground, making it a versatile community destination.

Good park plenty of shade and walls to site on
Not great. Do not recommend, really small dog enclosed area and not much for the dogs to do. We went in the small dog area but no space. There is a big dog area but not much space either. It would have been better if the big grassy field just outside the enclosed park was the enclosure space because much bigger.
Awesome dog area. The foundation under the dividing fence between small and large dogs needs to be cemented instead of wood chips that scatter with dogs running back and forth along it leaving voids that small dogs can get under the fence …
Divided into small and large doggie sections. I frequent the Large dog side. The owners and dogs are equally friendly. Its a great place for botj owners and their furry friends to socialise. the grass sometimes is more like sand but that doesnt stop us havung a good play !!
Lovely little park, has some trees for shade and some block seating. No toilet facilities or night time lighting, Wanneroo dog park offers both of those. Some owners need to remember to pick up after their dogs, dog owners here are sociable …
