Point Walter Dog Friendly
Unit 2/10 Burke Dr, Attadale, WA
Point Walter is a sprawling and picturesque dog-friendly destination situated along the Swan River in Western Australia. The park is characterized by its vast, well-maintained grassy fields that provide ample space for off-leash running and social interaction. A standout feature is the Point Walter Spit, a long sandbar extending into the river, offering a unique walking experience. The park includes sandy beach areas where dogs are permitted to swim and play in the water. Mature trees are scattered throughout, offering significant natural shade for visitors and their pets. Facilities visible include a large paved parking lot, a jetty, and several benches overlooking the water. While some sections feature post-and-wire or chain-link fencing for conservation purposes, the main recreational areas are open. The atmosphere is vibrant yet peaceful, complemented by artistic sculptures and a stunning view of the Perth city skyline. It is a popular spot for both locals and tourists seeking a scenic outdoor environment for their dogs.

Chicken was very nicely cooked and tuna tartlets were tasty.

A small park beside the river with lots of dog statues. The only improvement is the grass quality.
Requires more bins for dog poo. Some amenities to clean down dogs would be ideal, and restrooms.

Great spot for dog swim-walks in the shallow waters. Beautiful area. Dogs loved it. No toilets or amenities close. Point Walter cafe not dog friendly (whole area really with signs up everywhere)
