Peanut Farm Reserve Dog Off Leash Area
72 Chaucer St, St Kilda, VIC
Peanut Farm Reserve Dog Off Leash Area is a spacious and versatile urban park located in St Kilda, Australia, offering a welcoming environment for pets and their owners. The park's primary feature is a large, well-maintained grassy field that serves as an expansive off-leash zone, perfect for high-energy dogs to run and socialize. The terrain is notably flat, providing a safe and accessible surface for all breeds. While the area is bordered by chain-link fencing with wooden posts in certain sections, it maintains an open, integrated feel within the larger reserve. Mature trees around the perimeter provide patches of natural shade, and tall floodlights suggest the area is used into the evening. On-site amenities include park benches for resting and conveniently placed trash cans. The reserve is part of a larger recreational complex that includes a playground and basketball courts, and it is situated just a short walk from the beach. This combination of wide-open spaces and proximity to coastal views creates a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere for the local community.

Just a grass oval
Overall it's a great place for locals to take their dogs off leash. It's a tad on the boring side as it's just a grassy oval . But lots of dogs have a good play and romp and it's perfect for a game of fetch
Generally friendly dog owners and happy well trained dogs. Disgusting that a few owners do not pick up any "deposits" made by their animals. Bags are supplied so absolutely no excuse as this ground is shared with football and cricket training kids !!!
A nice dog park. Usually the dog owners are good for a chat and pleasant. The dogs can run free and love the interaction with other dogs.
