Sorrento Beach Dog Off Leash Area
3154 Point Nepean Rd, Sorrento, VIC
Sorrento Beach Dog Off Leash Area, located at Sullivan Bay, offers a picturesque coastal environment for dogs and their owners. The area encompasses a wide sandy beach and adjacent grassy parkland. A notable facility is the white timber gazebo, which provides a sheltered spot with benches for visitors. The beach provides a large, open space for dogs to exercise and swim in the shallow, calm waters of the bay, which is often dotted with moored boats. According to local signage, the area is designated as off-leash, though seasonal restrictions apply during summer (December to February) between 10 am and 6 pm. The terrain is a mix of flat sand and slightly sloping grassy areas with some paved walking paths. Historical markers provide context about the 1803 Collins Settlement Site. While the park offers natural beauty and ample space, it lacks formal fencing, agility equipment, or dedicated small-dog sections. Shade is primarily found under the gazebo or near established trees.

Beautiful spot for families and very safe for kids to swim around.During busy periods parking spots can be full pretty quickly but if you go early you can get parking.Short walk down to the beach with stunning views of Sorrento bay.
Less rocks than some dog beaches. Right near yacht club so parking could be issue in busy times. But nice
