Hickman Place Dog Off Leash Area
7 Hickman Pl, Seville, VIC
Hickman Place Dog Area, located within the Yarra Ranges, offers a serene environment characterized by expansive green spaces and mature vegetation. The area features a large, well-maintained grassy sporting field, which appears to be used for cricket, surrounded by perimeter fencing and tall floodlights for evening use. While the location is associated with dog walking, a prominent regulatory sign explicitly states 'Dogs on leash' and provides directions to the nearest off-leash zones, suggesting strict leash requirements in the immediate vicinity of the sporting grounds and residential boundaries. The park's landscape is varied, including sloped grassy sections and a shaded dirt path winding through a dense canopy of eucalyptus trees. For visitor comfort, there is at least one wooden bench set on a concrete base, nestled under trees against a picturesque ivy-covered wall. The perimeter is partially secured with chain-link fencing, particularly near residential properties. The atmosphere is peaceful and suburban, emphasizing shared use between sports enthusiasts and dog walkers, provided pets remain under control as per local council regulations.

Reviews
2 reviewsThe literal only object here is a signpost that says "no dogs off lead." It is an awkward corner of unmaintained land, wedged between three different subdivisions, that nobody wanted to put the effort in to figure out a use for.
This is STRICTLY on leash - confirmed by YV signage. Whilst the street appears to be quiet, the area is not secure. Nice & grassy. ABSOLUTELY NOT OFF LEASH.
