4(5 reviews)

BJ Hubbard Reserve Dog Off Leash Area in Australia provides a versatile and expansive environment for canine exercise and socialization. The park is set within a beautiful natural bushland context, dominated by tall native trees that offer significant natural shade throughout the day. Visitors can enjoy a variety of terrains, ranging from large, open grassy meadows perfect for high-energy games of fetch to more rugged, wooded sections with leaf-littered ground for sniffing and exploration. A key feature is the modern, securely fenced dog enclosure, which utilizes black chain-link fencing to provide a safe space for dogs to play. This fenced area includes a mix of surfaces such as sand, mulch, and grass, and incorporates naturalistic play elements like large rocks and a tunnel. For human visitors, the park is equipped with wooden picnic tables on paved bases, benches, and a network of both concrete and gravel walking paths. The overall atmosphere is serene and spacious, offering plenty of room for dogs to roam. A parking lot is visible nearby, ensuring easy access to the facilities.

Used to love bringing the dogs here for a good run but it’s no longer ‘off leash’ and that needs to be updated as it’s misleadingly advertised until you get there and find you’ve got a couple of disappointed dogs -(.

One stop shop (reserve) Perfect for a dog or a child enjoy playing in the grass. Really nice natural parkland just hidden around the corner to local school, shops and other kid friendly places of interest. If you’re even a 20 minute walk …

Kind of plain. Nothing of value other than open space. Could use a dog bag dispenser and water fountain. Maybe some things for the dogs to do. Also being fenced off a little might be good.
