L.E. Cotchin Reserve Dog Off Leash Area

15 Amery St, Reservoir, VIC

4.1(8 reviews)

LE Cotchin Reserve Dog Off Leash Area offers a spacious and natural environment for dogs to exercise. The park is characterized by its expansive grassy fields interspersed with numerous mature eucalyptus trees, which provide ample natural shade throughout the day. The ground surface is primarily natural grass, though some high-traffic areas under the trees show exposed dirt. While a wooden post-and-rail fence is visible along one boundary, the area appears to be only partially fenced, transitioning into open parkland and bordering residential streets in the distance. This suggests a need for good recall if dogs are off-leash. The atmosphere is serene and suburban, providing a quiet escape for pet owners. There are no visible specialized facilities such as water stations, agility equipment, benches, or waste disposal bins in this specific view, indicating a more rustic and undeveloped park style. The large, open space allows for plenty of running and fetch, making it suitable for active dogs. The terrain is mostly flat with very gentle slopes, making it easily accessible for most visitors.

Well closed off dog area, there are some sections your dog can escape through, quiet and plenty of space

You know the song 'Who let the dogs out'? You do? Great song to describe this place. Dogs are here having fun and I have no idea who released them.
