Alder Reserve Dog Off Leash Area
13 Alder Ct, Park Orchards, VIC
Alder Reserve is a spacious and versatile dog off-leash area characterized by its expansive grassy fields and lush, wooded surroundings. The park offers a mix of open spaces for running and more secluded, forested trails for exploration. The aerial view reveals a well-maintained community hub featuring a large central lawn, winding paved walking paths, and a dedicated playground area. The terrain is varied, with gentle slopes and sections of dense native vegetation, including pine forests and areas with seasonal wildflowers. While the main grassy areas provide ample room for off-leash play, the park also integrates facilities like a basketball court and seating areas. The atmosphere is tranquil and natural, providing a scenic environment for both dogs and their owners. The ground surface is primarily grass in the open areas, transitioning to dirt and gravel on the trails. Mature trees throughout the reserve offer significant natural shade, making it a comfortable spot even on warmer days. It serves as a significant green space within a residential neighborhood.

Reviews
1 reviewTook a bit to drive there, no real parking, and it was tiny and very underwhelming. Not enclosed, not really dog friendly as a small space where it was barely worth throwing the ball. Neighbouring properties had bigger areas.
