McKinnon Reserve Dog Off Leash Area
226 Tucker Rd, McKinnon, VIC
McKinnon Reserve Dog Off Leash Area is a sprawling and versatile community park located in Australia. The park is characterized by its vast, open grassy fields, which appear to double as sports ovals, complete with tall floodlights for evening activities. These expansive areas provide ample room for dogs to run freely and engage in high-energy play. Complementing the open spaces are sections with dense clusters of mature trees, offering significant natural shade and a different sensory experience with mulch and leaf-littered ground. The park's infrastructure is well-developed, featuring paved walking paths that meander through the grounds, connecting various zones. An aerial perspective highlights a large, modern playground equipped with vibrant shade sails, as well as several sheltered pavilions or gazebos suitable for gatherings. Perimeter fencing, primarily of the chain-link variety, is visible in several areas, providing a degree of security from adjacent residential streets. With its blend of manicured lawns, shaded groves, and recreational facilities, the park maintains a welcoming and active atmosphere for both pets and their owners.

Nice place to let your dog out for a run or play with other dogs.

A good dog park in the form of an old sports oval that is now dedicated off leash park, There is always a few people walking their dogs which is nice. There is curently no water for the dogs, which is odd. Maybe the upgrade tjays underway has water in the plan.

Like so many other grounds. Small rooms, but all good, it's a place kids and adults alike can enjoy.

Good location. Well fenced dog run area. It's a bit dark around the place at night, some additional lighting either motion or timer activated would allow the place to be utilised after sunset.
Beautiful open space
