Roth Hetherington Gardens Fenced Dog Park

6 Woollahra Ave, Keysborough, VIC

4.5(20 reviews)

Roth Hetherington Gardens Fenced Dog Park is a spacious and well-equipped off-leash area located in Australia. The park features a large, fully fenced grassy expanse, providing ample room for dogs to run and socialize safely. A unique and notable aspect of the park is a section situated directly beneath a large concrete overpass, which offers significant natural shade and shelter from the elements. The grounds are primarily covered in well-maintained grass, with some dirt and gravel paths winding through the area for walkers. Facilities include multiple sturdy wooden benches for owners to rest, a sheltered picnic area with a table, and a secure double-gate entry system to prevent escapes. Mature eucalyptus and other native trees are scattered throughout the landscape, providing plenty of natural shade. The park's atmosphere is open and natural, with some areas featuring large logs for dogs to climb on and explore. While tall lighting poles are visible, it's unclear if they provide full nighttime illumination. Overall, the park appears well-maintained and is a popular destination for local dog owners seeking a secure environment.

Nice local park with live displays of native plants from all around Australia separated by state. The dog park is about 50m long or so and sufficient to give the pups a good run around. We always see regulars here.

Such a pretty little hidden treasure. The fenced dig park is a delight and the meandering path through the planted section is an amazing photo spot …

Nice park, not busy. Lovely walk through the state named gardens. Small playground, perfect for toddlers. Toilets and water tap close to the playground, clean and good.
