Pridmore Park Dog Off Leash Area
1 Mason St, Hawthorn, VIC
Pridmore Park Dog Off Leash Area is a sprawling, multi-use recreational space in Australia, characterized by its vast, well-maintained green lawns and serene natural elements. The park features a massive open field, ideal for dogs to run freely and engage in high-energy activities like fetch or social play. While the main off-leash area appears to be unfenced, it is bordered by mature trees that provide ample natural shade and a sense of enclosure from the surrounding residential area. The ground surface is primarily lush grass, kept vibrant by an integrated sprinkler system visible in the mornings. For human visitors and their pets, the park offers essential amenities including a dedicated water fountain equipped with a dog bowl at its base. A fenced-in playground area provides a safe space for children, featuring modern equipment, benches, and nearby picnic tables. The park's atmosphere is tranquil, enhanced by a decorative pond with birdlife and ornamental statues. Paved walking paths meander through the grounds, making it accessible for strollers. Tall lighting poles suggest the area is usable during twilight hours, making it a versatile community hub.

Plenty of space and quiet down here. A small soccer pitch too which is handy. Close the the Yarra River and away from the city noise. Good walking trails near by along with a children's fenced playground, water taps and seating.
