Fairview Park Dog Off Leash Area
15 Fairview St, Hawthorn, VIC
Fairview Park Dog Off Leash Area is a spacious and scenic public park located in Australia, characterized by its expansive, well-maintained green lawns and a variety of mature trees that provide ample natural shade for visitors and their pets. The park offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, making it a popular destination for local dog owners to let their pets run and socialize freely. Key facilities include a sheltered picnic area with a sturdy wooden table, multiple conveniently placed trash bins for waste disposal, and a dedicated water fountain that features a dog bowl at its base for easy hydration. The terrain is predominantly flat, ideal for running, with some gentle slopes and stone-walled embankments adding visual interest. Paved walking paths meander through the area, suitable for strollers or easy walking. While some low bollard-style fencing and partial barriers are visible near road boundaries, the park is largely open-plan rather than being fully enclosed by high-security fencing. The primary ground surface is lush grass, providing a soft and comfortable environment for active play and relaxation under the trees.

Gorgeous park for off lead dog exercising. Plenty of space, trees/bushes/river access to keep them entertained and water stations for drinks. …
I visited this park with one of my clients - Rylie the 10 month old Golden retriever puppy …

I almost don't want to share it it's so beautiful.. with the gorgeous backdrop of the yarra on one side and perched hawthorn mansions on the other it feels very enclosed. As long as your dog doesn't try going for a swim in the river!
Na facilities or dog bags and a bit loud courtesy of the freeway but a nice park with good access to the Yarra
