Hastings Foreshore Reserve Dog Off Leash Area
91 Marine Parade, Hastings, VIC
Hastings Foreshore Reserve Dog Off Leash Area is a sprawling coastal park in Australia that provides a variety of terrains for canine exploration. The reserve features vast, well-maintained grassy fields ideal for high-energy activities and off-leash play. For those who prefer a more structured walk, gravel and dirt paths meander through the landscape, bordered by native bushes and mature trees that offer pockets of natural shade. A standout feature is the direct access to a sandy beach area, where dogs can roam among driftwood and enjoy the waterfront atmosphere near the local marina. The park is equipped with multiple wooden benches strategically placed for owners to relax while keeping an eye on their pets. A large gravel parking lot ensures convenient access, and a mobile coffee van is frequently on-site. While the reserve includes a playground for children in the distance, the primary focus is the open, natural space. The fencing is partial, consisting mainly of wooden perimeter fences in certain sections, maintaining an open and airy feel throughout the reserve.

10 reviewsGreat park for dogs and friendly people, close to town too
Just a lovely park to take your dog(s) they can run freely greet other dogs doing what dogs do best Lovely cafe and kids playground as well πΆπ β¦
Love this park I have moved out of the area but still come back to this park as the ones around me are nowhere near as good
Nice open area to take your dog, but it isn't fenced so make sure your dog has good recall. It's generally a nice place, however it has some problems. The paths are flooded in several areas most of the winter, the grass is not mowed often β¦
Council needs to keep on top mowing the grass. Small dogs will get lost in it. Walk the dog and drop in for a coffee @ the capolatte coffee van too

Nice large expanse of grass with a panoramic view of the bay and islands. Pelicans, ibis, corellas, eagles overhead, shallows, wagtails, rosella's all around and wrens in the surrounding bush that flit out onto the path and back. β¦
Lovely off lease area. Just remember to pick up after your dog π β¦
Great place for all. just wish lazy dog owners would pick up the poo. Great meeting place.
Clean and safe place to play.
