Janice Road Reserve Dog Off Leash Area
10 Janice Rd, Glen Waverley, VIC
Janice Road Reserve Dog Off Leash Area is an expansive public space in Australia, primarily characterized by its vast, open grassy fields situated beneath large high-voltage power transmission towers. The park offers a significant amount of room for dogs to run and play, making it ideal for high-energy breeds. The terrain is mostly flat with some gentle slopes, covered in well-maintained natural grass. While the central areas under the power lines are exposed to the sun, the park's perimeter is lined with mature trees and dense shrubbery that provide patches of natural shade. A wooden fence borders parts of the reserve, separating it from adjacent residential properties, though the entire area does not appear to be fully enclosed in a single dog-proof perimeter in all directions. There are no visible specialized amenities such as agility equipment, water fountains, benches, or waste stations in the provided images, suggesting a more natural, reserve-style off-leash experience. The atmosphere is peaceful and suburban, offering a simple but effective space for local residents to exercise their pets in a large-scale environment.

Nice open area. Grass are well kept.

Good place for the dogs to run, however, limited water and no bins close-by make it a bit unwelcoming. The upper part next to the nursery gets quite muddy after a rain.
Love this area for the dogs and you meet some nice people also.
Good open area, though only for well behaved and obedient dogs, as it is very open to the road, so your dog needs to be effectively under your controll by voice. …
