Nettleton Park Dog Off Leash Area
Gardiner Parade &, 3 Dawson Dr, Glen Iris, VIC
Nettleton Park Dog Off Leash Area is an expansive, multi-use recreational space located in Australia. The park features vast, well-maintained grassy fields that serve as both sports ovals and off-leash areas for dogs. The terrain is predominantly flat with some gentle slopes near the perimeter. Mature trees, including many native eucalypts, provide significant natural shade around the edges of the open spaces, creating a pleasant environment for both pets and owners. Facilities include a children's playground with modern climbing equipment set on a woodchip surface, which is partially fenced for safety. There are paved walking paths winding through the park, suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. Benches are strategically placed for owners to rest while their dogs play. While the sports fields themselves are not fully enclosed by dog-proof fencing, there are perimeter fences and natural boundaries. The atmosphere is open and community-oriented, often shared by sports teams, families, and dog owners. No specific dog agility equipment, water stations, or dedicated small dog areas are visible in the provided images, suggesting a more natural, open-field experience.

Beautiful place to walk and so scenic. I love walking here as it is not just any trail. It is a place to relax

This off leash area is not enclosed. When local sporting events are on, dogs are not.

dog got stuck in the creek chasing a duck so just be wary
Good off lead dog park. Very active in the evenings - great for dog play! Most owners and dogs are well behaved.
Popular for dogs
Great 'off leash' oval for the local dog's to play and socialise on. There's a small and recently upgraded fenced in 'jungle gym' area for those with young children, (I've an inkling that kiddies over 5 yrs would get bored after 10 minutes …
