Worland Park Dog Off Leash Area

15 Belar Ave, Frankston, VIC

3.8(5 reviews)

Worland Park Dog Off Leash Area offers a versatile community space with a variety of amenities for both humans and pets. The park features a sprawling open grassy field, which serves as a cricket ground and a large space for dogs to run. The terrain is predominantly flat with some mature trees providing natural shade along the borders. For fitness enthusiasts, there is a dedicated outdoor gym area with modern equipment like an elliptical trainer and body twist station set on a safety-conscious green rubberized surface. Families are well-catered for with two distinct playground areas: one featuring a modern multi-level structure with spiral slides and climbing elements, and another more traditional wooden play set, both situated on protective woodchip or rubber flooring. A network of paved and gravel paths connects the different sections of the park. While the images show perimeter metal fencing and some internal barriers, the off-leash area appears to be integrated into the large multi-purpose sports field. The presence of tall floodlights suggests the park is equipped for evening use, and nearby parked cars indicate convenient access for visitors.

Saw one other dog around 6pm, you can keep your dog in the gates at least. But not many dogs around

An oval in a round depression with a cricket pitch. On top of the bank are a few shady trees. There is a rough path leading along the south side at the top of the bank but there is quite a lot of broken glass. There is no bin or water tap.
