Point Park Dog Off-leash Area
Docklands VIC 3008, Docklands, VIC
Point Park Dog Off-leash Area is a picturesque urban green space situated along a waterfront, offering visitors and their pets spectacular views of a marina and the city's modern skyline. The park is characterized by its expansive open spaces, featuring a mix of lush, well-manicured green lawns and some areas with more natural, dry grass. This large area provides ample room for dogs to exercise and play freely off-leash. The park's infrastructure includes wide, paved paths ideal for walking, jogging, or cycling, which are well-lit by modern street lamps. For comfort, there are scattered park benches and a sheltered picnic area equipped with tables. While a low post-and-rail fence is visible along certain sections near the water's edge, the park does not appear to be fully enclosed by high security fencing. Natural shade is plentiful, provided by a variety of mature leafy trees and striking rows of tall, slender evergreens. The overall atmosphere is one of a versatile public space that serves as a tranquil escape within a bustling city environment, occasionally serving as a venue for community events.

This is a well maintained multi purpose grassy area, have never really seen it overgrown. In the summer it hosts free outdoor cinemas when the sponsors can afford. Otherwise you'll see dogs having the time of their life or kids playing ball …
Very clean and tidy
