Snowdon Reserve Fenced Dog Park

5A Snowdon Dr, Cheltenham, VIC

3.8(20 reviews)

Snowdon Reserve Fenced Dog Park, also known as part of the Farm Road Reserve, offers a generous and secure environment for dogs to exercise off-leash. The park is characterized by its long, rectangular layout, providing a significant run for active dogs. The ground surface is primarily natural grass, though some high-traffic areas show worn dirt paths. The perimeter is fully secured by a combination of high wooden fences belonging to adjacent residential properties and sturdy black chain-link fencing along the public boundaries. Mature deciduous and evergreen trees are situated within and around the park, providing patches of natural shade, particularly along the edges. For visitor comfort, several wooden and metal park benches are placed throughout the area. Trash cans are available near the entrance for convenient waste disposal. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and suburban, nestled behind local homes. While the space is large and open, no specialized agility equipment, water fountains, or public toilet facilities are visible in the provided imagery. The park appears well-utilized by the local community, offering a simple but effective space for canine socialization and play.

Seems like dog walking groups meet here and there were about 30 or 40 big dogs not on leads. My dogs were too afraid and the couple of adults there were trying to tell me how to treat my dogs. Wouldn't go again

Fantastic to have a fenced doggy zone. Park pretty rough compared to nearby Derring Lane though.
