Vern Wright Reserve Fenced Dog Park
10 Shearwater Pl, Capel Sound, VIC
Vern Wright Reserve Fenced Dog Park in Australia provides a generous and secure environment for canine exercise and socialization. The park is characterized by its expansive open spaces, featuring a mix of well-maintained grass and natural dirt surfaces that cater to high-energy play. The area is fully enclosed by a combination of sturdy wooden fencing and wire mesh, ensuring a safe off-leash experience for dogs of various sizes. One of the key amenities is a functional water station equipped with a tap and a paved area to prevent excessive mud, allowing dogs to stay hydrated. For human visitors, the park includes basic facilities such as benches and picnic tables situated under the shade of mature trees. A notable feature is the adjacent children's playground, which is conveniently separated by fencing, making the reserve a versatile spot for families. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and community-oriented, further enhanced by its proximity to a beautiful coastal beach area. While the park offers some natural shade from perimeter trees, the central running area is largely open to the elements, providing plenty of room for long-distance fetching and social interaction.

Lots of dog poo, why can't people pick up after their dogs, could have been so much better. Great space, wish it was cleaner

Good to let dog of the lead. Only problem is the dog poop. Would be great if people picked up and put in the bins there.
Great Park with a separate dog area, so no dogs running up to your little ones
