9-23 Albion St, Brunswick East, VIC
Jones Park Dog Off Leash Area offers a sprawling and versatile outdoor space for both pets and their owners. The park is characterized by its vast, undulating grassy fields that provide ample room for dogs to run and play freely. Mature eucalyptus trees are scattered throughout the landscape, offering significant natural shade, complemented by a man-made picnic shelter. For families, the park includes a well-equipped playground with slides and climbing structures, set upon a safe wood-chip surface. Practical amenities are well-integrated, including a dual-level water fountain suitable for both humans and dogs, conveniently located trash cans, and sturdy metal benches for resting. The terrain features a mix of flat areas and gentle slopes, with well-maintained gravel paths crisscrossing the space for easy navigation. While the park is bordered by some perimeter fencing near residential boundaries, it maintains an open, airy atmosphere. The presence of overhead power lines and views of a nearby ornate church with golden domes add unique visual elements to this community-focused recreational area.

Great open space, sadly not well-maintained. Poor mowing and lots of potholes. Be sure to check your dog for grass-seeds/prickles after playing here.
