Mt Morton Reserve Dog Off Leash Area

97 Chaundy Rd, Belgrave South, VIC

4(7 reviews)

Mt Morton Reserve Dog Off Leash Area in Australia offers a sprawling, naturalistic environment for dogs to explore. The park is characterized by its vast open grassy spaces and winding gravel paths set against a backdrop of dense native bushland and mature eucalyptus trees. The terrain is varied, featuring gentle slopes and a large pond, providing a diverse sensory experience for pets. While there is a metal gate at one of the entrances, the area appears to be an expansive open reserve rather than a fully enclosed fenced park. The atmosphere is tranquil and semi-wild, making it perfect for active dogs that enjoy running through long grass and exploring wooded trails. Shade is abundant due to the heavy tree cover. However, visible amenities are sparse, with no obvious benches, water stations, or waste facilities in the immediate vicinity of the trails shown. It is a primitive, high-quality natural space for off-leash exercise.

Uneven bushy weedy terrain, no good for ball throwing or a good run aseven a large dog will be out of sight. Lucky mine has good recall. Just a bit of rubbishy land.

Plenty of roo poo for the dogs to eat. No fences so not great for dogs without recall.

Under rated and under utilised. Everyone has their dogs off leash at the Sth oval that doesn't allow dogs yet this place exists as an off leash dog park and there is never anyone else there. …
