Banksia Reserve Dog Off Leash Area
83 Tramway Parade, Beaumaris, VIC
Banksia Reserve Dog Off Leash Area in Australia offers a vast, open expanse for canine exercise and socialization. The park features a large, flat field with a natural grass surface that varies from lush green to dry and patchy across different seasons. This expansive space is clearly designated for off-leash use, as multiple dogs are seen running freely. While the main field is largely open to the sun, mature trees lining the perimeter provide pockets of natural shade. The reserve is equipped with tall floodlights, indicating its use for evening activities. A key feature is the adjacent children's playground, which is securely separated by metal fencing. The park's boundaries appear to have partial fencing, including chain-link sections. One of the most notable aspects is its proximity to the coast, allowing dogs the opportunity to swim in the ocean. The overall atmosphere is one of active community use, providing a simple but effective environment for high-energy dogs to roam. While specific amenities like water stations aren't prominent in these views, the sheer scale of the grassy area is the primary draw.

A huge oval area for dogs to go off leash. There's the pavilion nearby for water and a few fountains scattered around. Limited shade on the oval as you'd expect, but there are surrounding trees and a few benches if needed. Dogs are allowed off-leash on the oval, but are required back on leash when near the playground or roads.
