Lions Park Off Lead Dog Park
Riverside TAS 7250, Riverside, TAS
Lions Park Off Lead Dog Park in Australia offers a diverse recreational environment for pets and their owners. The dog-specific area features a secure, fenced enclosure constructed with sturdy wooden post-and-rail fencing reinforced with wire mesh, providing a safe space for pets to run off-lead. The ground surface within this area is primarily well-maintained grass. For owners, there is a sheltered pavilion equipped with bench seating, offering protection from the elements. The broader park environment is quite scenic, featuring a river with a small rocky weir and lush grassy banks lined with mature willow trees, where local waterfowl can often be seen. Adjacent to the dog area, the park includes a dirt-surfaced pump track or bike park with various mounds for cycling enthusiasts. The presence of large open spaces and natural shade from trees makes it a versatile spot for outdoor activities. While the images focus on the natural and recreational features, the inclusion of a parking symbol indicates convenient access for visitors. The atmosphere is peaceful and rural, set against a backdrop of rolling hills and dense woodland.

Second time of visit.
Pretty neat dog park! I drove from Canberra to check it out. There’s a hose, a couple of bowls, poo bags a bin and a small agility course. A bit more shade would have got it 5 stars. Needs a mow and bin empty (06 Jan 24).
Great little secure fenced off dog park with a sheltered seating area and toys for the dogs. Only a small area for the dogs to play but loaded with toys and obstacles. …
Great for the dogs to run clean and water available
