Gravelly Beach Dog Park
Gravelly Beach TAS 7276, Gravelly Beach, TAS
Gravelly Beach Dog Park, situated along the picturesque Tamar River in Tasmania, provides a dedicated off-leash environment for canine exercise. The park features a spacious, fenced-in area enclosed by a rustic wooden post and wire mesh fence. The ground surface within the enclosure is natural grass, which provides a soft but occasionally dry terrain for running. Facilities include a secure gate entry, a public trash bin, and a dog waste bag dispenser located at the entrance. While the fenced area itself is mostly open with a small utility shed, the surrounding parkland offers ample shade from mature trees. A notable landmark within the park is a decommissioned Leopard AS1 tank, adding a unique historical element to the site. Visitors can also enjoy the adjacent pebbly beach and calm waterfront, perfect for scenic walks. Public toilet facilities are conveniently located in a building near the dog enclosure. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and expansive, catering well to active dogs and their owners.

Not an overly lovely place, the toilets are heavily graffitied and closed
My local. Pretty average little dog park. It gets very soggy during winter and after rains. It has no dog drinking water. …
Needs some drainage ASAP. More signage for people to pick up their dog 💩💩 …

Large fenced area for the dog to run free. Only shade is a shelter. Appeared someone was staying in it. Fences and gates are good.

Don't be fooled it's not a beach for dogs to play. It's a fenced piece of grass hidden away from the beach. Not worth driving from another town.
Nothing like the pictures. A small treeless sad fenced area.
Nice but no water for the dogs
