4.7(91 reviews)

Kingston Dog Beach in Australia is a versatile coastal destination offering both expansive natural landscapes and dedicated exercise areas. The site features a wide, sandy beach ideal for off-leash running and swimming, complemented by scenic rocky outcrops and coastal cliffs. In addition to the beach, there is a fenced grassy paddock specifically designed for dog socialization and play, as seen with several greyhounds enjoying the space. The park also incorporates paved walking trails that wind through areas with mature eucalyptus trees, providing natural shade and a structured path for strolls. The terrain is varied, ranging from flat sandy shores to sloped grassy fields and rocky tidal zones. While specific amenities like water fountains or waste stations aren't prominently featured in these views, the sheer scale and variety of the environment—from the open ocean to the enclosed field—make it a comprehensive off-leash area. The atmosphere is tranquil and picturesque, particularly during the golden hour, offering a high-quality outdoor experience for dogs of all sizes.

Off leash dog area on a sandy part of beach front at Kingston. Likely t he northern part of Tyndall Beach. Plenty of room for dogs to splash about and run.

Such a beautiful beach, especially at sunrise. It’s puppy heaven down here, they love it.

Very popular, lots of friendly people and dogs. The road there is kind of sketchy though. I recommend!

Drive down to it was a bit hairy if you met another vehicle. Really crowded with dogs when we were there so your dog needs to be well socialised and used to dogs running up to them constantly.
