LJ Lewis Reserve Dog Park
LJ Lewis Reserve, Stirling St, Northfield, SA
LJ Lewis Reserve Dog Park is a spacious and well-equipped off-leash area featuring a mix of surfaces including large grassy fields, sandpits, and mulched zones. The park is fully enclosed by secure chain-link fencing and includes a double-gate entry system for safety. For canine enrichment, the facility provides various agility equipment such as large concrete tunnels and smaller hoops. Human amenities are plentiful, with multiple benches, shaded seating areas under structures, and natural shade provided by mature eucalyptus trees. A public toilet block is conveniently located on-site. The park's layout appears to cater to different activity levels, with wide-open spaces for running and more focused play areas. Street parking is visible adjacent to the park. The overall atmosphere is community-oriented and active, suitable for dogs of various sizes to socialize and exercise in a secure environment. The presence of lighting suggests the park may be usable during early morning or evening hours.
