"Barka Park" Dog Park
29 Zanker Dr, Mount Barker, SA
Barka Park Dog Park offers a diverse and expansive environment for dogs and their owners. The park features large, open grassy fields perfect for off-leash running and social play. For those seeking a more structured activity, there is a dedicated area equipped with wooden agility ramps. The terrain is varied, including flat meadows, gentle slopes, and well-maintained gravel paths that wind through dense stands of mature eucalyptus trees, providing ample natural shade and a bush-walk atmosphere. The park is partially enclosed by chain-link fencing, ensuring a level of safety while maintaining an open feel. Facilities include basic amenities like benches for resting and a sheltered picnic area. The ground surface is a mix of lush green grass, natural dirt, and gravel trails. Overall, the atmosphere is one of natural beauty and spaciousness, catering to both high-energy exercise and tranquil nature walks. While some areas are more developed with landscaping and paths, others retain a more rugged, natural Australian bushland character, making it a versatile destination for local dog owners.

Good use of space.
My dog likes this place a lot
Safe park where you can walk small dogs off lead while separated from larger dogs.
Great areas for large & small pets.
Great to have a safe space to let our dog exercise after a long drive.
