Four Paws Park

Montacute Road &, St Bernards Rd, Hectorville, SA

4(12 reviews)

Four Paws Park appears to be a well-equipped, spacious dog park featuring a mix of natural and developed areas. The park offers a variety of ground surfaces, including large open grassy fields for running and wood-chipped sections with natural obstacles like logs and rocks. It is securely enclosed with chain-link fencing, providing a safe off-leash environment for pets. Mature gum trees are scattered throughout the landscape, offering ample natural shade for both dogs and their owners. Facilities include park benches for seating, water bowls for hydration, and some basic agility-style elements like tunnels and climbing logs. The park is part of a larger recreational precinct that includes a children's playground with slides and swings, a tennis court, and a scenic rocky creek bed crossed by a wooden bridge. Its atmosphere is a unique blend of suburban convenience—situated near local businesses—and natural bushland charm, making it a versatile destination for both active exercise and peaceful walks.

This might not be the biggest park around, but it really packs a lot into its space. It’s one of those spots that feels like an all-in-one destination. Whether you’re coming with kids, a dog, a bike, or just looking for a peaceful stroll, …

NICE SHADED PARK FOR PUPS AND HUMANS. PARKING IS NOT TOO GOOD. A SMALL AGILITY COURSE WOULD BE NICE, MAYBE IPSWICH COUNCIL COULD USE SOME OF THE MONEY US RATE PAYERS KEEP PAYING WITH ALL THE RATE RISES COUNCIL KEEPS GIVING? STILL A GOOD PARK THOUGH, LOTS OF ROOM FOR THE PUPS.
