Pooch Park Blakes Crossing
Jabez Way, Blakeview, SA
Pooch Park at Blakes Crossing is a spacious and well-maintained community dog park located within a larger recreational precinct. The facility features large, securely fenced off-leash areas, allowing dogs to run freely. The ground surface is a mix of natural grass and dirt, which provides a realistic outdoor experience but may vary with the seasons. For canine enrichment, the park includes basic agility elements such as large logs and weave poles. Pet owners can enjoy the outdoors from several benches placed throughout the area, with some positioned under large shade structures for protection from the sun. The park's perimeter is defined by sturdy chain-link fencing. Beyond the immediate dog enclosures, the surrounding parkland offers scenic views of a local pond, paved walking trails, and outdoor exercise equipment. The overall atmosphere is tranquil and inviting, making it a popular spot for local residents and their pets to socialize and exercise in a safe, open environment.

Fairly large single dog park, no separation of large and small dogs. A rubbish bin is stocked with poo bags. Water fountain which allows emptying of the dog bowl is available. Some agility equipment including a ramp and weave poles. 2 bench …
Park is pretty standard but I wish people would PICK UP THEIR DOG POOP! I shouldn’t be stepping in it… TWICE!
