Boxwood court dog park

3.6(9 reviews)

Boxwood Court Dog Park in Australia offers a comprehensive outdoor space for canine exercise and training. The facility is characterized by its multiple fenced-in areas, providing a secure environment for off-leash activity. One of the standout features is the extensive array of agility equipment, including an A-frame, tunnels, weave poles, and various jumps, some of which are positioned along a specialized rubberized path to protect dogs' joints. The park's terrain is a mix of flat expanses and gentle slopes, primarily covered in natural grass with some worn dirt paths in high-use zones. Mature trees are scattered throughout, offering ample natural shade, complemented by a small roofed gazebo for weather protection. For human visitors, several benches are strategically placed along the perimeter. The park is enclosed by sturdy black chain-link fencing with gated entry points. While the images don't explicitly show water stations or restrooms, the large open spaces and dedicated training tools make it an ideal spot for active dogs. The atmosphere is peaceful and functional, set against a backdrop of local vegetation and residential surroundings.

The grass is so overgrown and the last mowing has left all the clippings, can’t even see a ball it’s so long, awful at the moment.

BIG park. Nice and long to be able to throw a ball, frizbee etc for those dogs that love a good chase/ run. Double gated both entrances with a bin close to each. I wouldn't think well shaded in the morning as there aren't any trees on the …

It's quite a nice park with lots of shade. But, the water fountain doesn't work and hasn't worked for over 3 months that I know of. The council has been advised, they and put a sticker on it stating that they are aware that it's out of order. I think to leave it in that condition for the whole of summer is totally unacceptable.
