Rode Road Dog Park

822 Rode Rd, Stafford Heights, QLD

4.5(151 reviews)

Rode Road Dog Park is a spacious and well-equipped off-leash facility located within a larger community park. The dog-specific areas are fully enclosed with chain-link fencing, providing a secure environment for pets to run and play. The park features a predominantly grass surface, though some high-traffic areas show worn dirt paths. One of the standout features is the abundance of mature trees that offer significant natural shade throughout the day. For human visitors, the park provides several benches and sheltered gazebos equipped with picnic tables. Agility enthusiasts will find equipment like an A-frame ramp to challenge their dogs. The broader park area includes additional amenities such as paved walking paths, a basketball court, and clearly marked rubbish and recycling bins. The atmosphere is peaceful and green, making it an ideal spot for both exercise and relaxation. While specific small and large dog sections aren't explicitly labeled in all views, the presence of multiple fenced enclosures suggests separate areas are available. Overall, it is a functional and inviting space for the local canine community.

Fantastic spot with enough room for larger dogs to run. Can get quite muddy in heavy rain.
