Pimpama Fenced Dog Park

75 Great Sandy Cct, Pimpama, QLD

4.3(23 reviews)

Pimpama Fenced Dog Park offers a spacious and well-equipped environment for dogs and their owners. The park features multiple large, fenced-off areas, allowing for off-leash exercise and socialization in separate sections. The primary ground surface is natural grass, which varies from well-maintained lawns to more rugged, taller patches in some enclosures. For canine enrichment, the park includes agility equipment such as an A-frame ramp and various platforms. Essential facilities are provided, including water stations with taps and bowls, though the area around them can become muddy after use. For owners, there are several benches and covered picnic pavilions providing shade and a place to rest. The park is well-secured with a combination of chain-link and wooden post-and-rail fencing. Adjacent to the dog areas is a modern children's playground with various climbing structures and slides, making it a family-friendly destination. While there is some natural shade from trees, the man-made shelters offer the most reliable protection from the sun. The overall atmosphere is open and active, catering to dogs of various sizes.

Used to be a really lovely dog park but recently has had a string of dog attacks due to careless owners. Needs to be monitored by council.

Not a bad dog park but definitely could use small dog and big dog area division. Have seen and experienced small dogs get overwhelmed by big dogs.

Unfortunately there are too many dog attacks here. My own big dog was attacked by 2 staffies, police called etc. It's a great place with many great people & dogs - but also many irresponsible people bringing dogs who should never ever be let off leash.

This park was a an absolute disgrace!! Everyone brings their dogs big and small. Walked in with my 2 small dogs and a gigantic brown dog ran towards me and pushed me over. Scratched my stomach and wouldn’t leave me alone until the owner …
