Hinterland Regional Offleash Dog Area

Mudgeeraba QLD 4213, Mudgeeraba, QLD

4.2(25 reviews)

Hinterland Regional Offleash Dog Area is a spacious and well-maintained public park located in a scenic part of Australia. The park features expansive open grassy fields, providing ample room for dogs to run and play. A key feature is the large, fully fenced dog exercise enclosure, which uses secure chain-link fencing to ensure a safe environment for off-leash activity. Inside the fenced area, visitors can find several metal benches for seating, strategically placed under the canopy of mature trees that offer significant natural shade. The ground surface is primarily natural grass, which appears well-kept across both the fenced and open sections of the park. Beyond the dedicated dog areas, the park includes walking paths, historical markers like the Mudgeeraba Railway plaque, and even outdoor fitness equipment. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and community-oriented, with plenty of space to accommodate multiple groups of people and their pets. While specific amenities like water stations or toilets aren't explicitly shown in every frame, the presence of official signage and well-constructed fencing indicates a dedicated and managed facility. The park's proximity to a body of water and its rolling green landscape make it an attractive destination for local dog owners.

Terrible environment with little stimulating stuff for dogs to explore. My visit was made worse by when my dog was attacked by another vicious dog that just shouldn't have been unmuzzled in an off-leash park. Give this park a wide berth.

Great hidden spot. Good playground and picnic area. Big Fenced in off lead area for dogs and lots of short trails for young , old and the fury kind. If your lucky the cows are great for the kids to look at if they are nearby that day.

Lovely park, which has a nice off lead dog section.

It's OK. When I was there there were a few big breed dogs that owners just let them run around chasing smaller dogs.
