James Warner Park
33 Annie St, Kangaroo Point, QLD
James Warner Park is a popular urban off-leash dog facility located in Kangaroo Point, Brisbane, offering a well-maintained and secure environment for dogs to socialize and exercise. The park features a spacious area with a mixed surface of lush green grass and some dirt patches in high-wear sections. It is fully enclosed by a sturdy black chain-link fence, featuring a double-gated "airlock" entry system to ensure pet safety. The park is well-equipped with basic agility equipment, including a climbing A-frame and a concrete tunnel, which add an element of fun and training to the visit. For the comfort of owners, several metal benches are strategically placed, many of which benefit from the extensive natural shade provided by large, mature trees. Essential amenities are present, such as a dedicated dog water fountain, multiple trash cans, and a communal toy bin stocked with various balls. The atmosphere is peaceful yet vibrant, characterized by its scenic city backdrop and historical plaques that add local character. While there are no separate sections for different dog sizes, the open layout provides ample room for all dogs to play safely.

Mangrove lined green strip pedestrian/ shared bikeway along Brisbane River. At low tide you may be able to check out the wreck of the Myora.
Nice spot to sit and watch the world go by, though as I post this (Feb 2018) there are two construction sites adjoining this park , so better spots along the river are easy to find
Great to walk through on your way around Kangaroo Point.
