4.9(25 reviews)

BGGS Dog Off Leash Area is a multi-faceted recreational space that caters extensively to dog owners and their pets. The park is characterized by its significant size, featuring vast, open grassy fields that appear to double as sports grounds, complete with soccer goals. A key feature is the dedicated, fenced-off dog exercise area which includes agility equipment such as an A-frame ramp and a large concrete tunnel for play. The park's natural setting is enhanced by its proximity to water; dogs can be seen cooling off in a river or creek area with a sandy bank, as well as a smaller, rocky natural pool. Mature trees are plentiful across the site, providing ample natural shade for both dogs and owners. Facilities include a water fountain for hydration and some stone block seating areas. The perimeter is secured in parts by chain-link fencing, ensuring a safe environment for off-leash activity. With its combination of manicured lawns, natural water features, and specialized agility equipment, the park offers a diverse and engaging atmosphere for canine exercise and socialization.

Nice, quiet spot to stop for lunch. Large off-leash for dogs, though not fenced. Clean toilet.

Park is lovely though was seeking a fenced enclosure. This park does not have.

Always lots of friendly dogs with friendly owners here. Peak times are weekend afternoons and weekday evenings just before sunset. Note that there are no official bins for droppings (though a temporary one seems to remain) and no spare bags. The area is surrounded by bush with walking trails and a stream.

My dogs just love this place. A really large off leash area with friendly fur babies! Can’t recommend this place more🫶🏻 …
