3.9(16 reviews)

Dutton Park Dog Off Leash Area is a spacious and well-maintained urban canine retreat featuring a large, fully fenced enclosure. The park provides a generous amount of room for dogs to run and socialize, with a landscape characterized by wide open grassy fields interspersed with mature trees that offer significant natural shade. For the comfort of visitors, the facility includes several benches strategically placed throughout the area and a dedicated sheltered picnic spot with a table. Practical amenities are well-provided, including a double-gated entry system for secure access, a dog-friendly water fountain, waste bag dispensers, and conveniently located trash cans. The ground surface is primarily grass, with some dirt and gravel patches in high-wear zones near gates and under trees. While situated near urban high-rises, the park maintains a serene atmosphere, further enhanced by beautiful flowering jacaranda trees during the season. The presence of light poles suggests extended usability during dawn or dusk. Overall, it is a functional and inviting space that caters well to the needs of both dogs and their owners in a city environment.

Came in the top side gates and let my dogs off leash not realising someone had left BOTH the bottom gates open. So dangerous near busy Annerley road. Be careful as another park goer mentioned they've seen it happen before.

The park was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of space for dogs to run and play. there were plenty of waste bags and dispensers available. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend it to any dog owner looking for a fun and safe place to take their furry friend."

It's not too bad but there are tonnes of rocks, rough terrain and slopes, so something to be mindful of. Otherwise, bins are provided and the views are pretty nice
