Wembley Park Dog Park

Coorparoo QLD 4151, Coorparoo, QLD

4.2(65 reviews)

Wembley Park Dog Park in Australia provides a generous and functional space for canine exercise and socialization. The park features a large, fully enclosed off-leash area protected by sturdy chain-link fencing and a secure double-gate entry system. The terrain consists of a mix of well-maintained grass and some dirt patches in high-use areas, set upon a gentle slope that offers views of the distant city skyline. Significant natural shade is provided by several large, mature trees, while open sections allow for plenty of sunlight. Facilities within the fenced area include multiple benches for owners to rest, conveniently placed trash cans, and a dedicated dog waste bag dispenser to maintain cleanliness. For active dogs, the park includes agility equipment such as an A-frame and small hurdles. The presence of solar-powered lighting and standard street lamps suggests the park is accessible during early morning or evening hours. While the images depict a comprehensive off-leash zone, they do not show separate sections for small or large dogs, nor are public toilets or water stations clearly visible. The overall atmosphere is peaceful and community-oriented.

Good size park for dogs and human. The only downside is the shared carpark with the netball courts and can be a pain in the backside during netball season.

Lovely dogpark by Bridgewater creek. You'll never get a carpark when netball training is on across the creek, that is winter weekday afternoons. The bike track/ footpath runs from close to Coorparoo station to the Old Cleveland Rd/ Bennets …

Small but friendly dog park. This is our local, and it can get quite busy at peak times. Not sectioned for different sizes, so just be wary if you have a small dog. Everyone recently has been really lovely, and we're even learning other …
