Castaways Beach

Castaways Beach is an expansive, scenic off-leash dog area located along the coastline in Australia. The park is characterized by its vast stretches of pristine sandy shoreline and rolling ocean waves, providing a massive open space for dogs to run and swim. The ground surface is primarily natural sand, bordered by protected sand dunes featuring native grasses and occasional small trees. While the images show post-and-wire fencing used to delineate protected dune areas, there is no secure perimeter fencing for the dog area itself, making it suitable for dogs with reliable recall. Facilities appear minimal within the beach area; there are no visible water stations, benches, trash cans, or toilets in the immediate vicinity of the shore. Shade is extremely limited, with only sparse coastal vegetation providing cover. The atmosphere is serene and natural, offering a rugged coastal experience rather than a structured park environment. It is an ideal spot for active dogs who enjoy water play and long runs on the sand.
