4 McGill Ave, Ascot, QLD

4(11 reviews)

This dog park offers a comprehensive recreational space for both pets and families, set within a scenic Australian landscape. The facility features a large, securely fenced off-leash area that is divided into separate sections, allowing for the segregation of dogs based on size or temperament. The ground surface within the exercise area is primarily well-maintained grass, providing a soft and natural environment for running, while mature trees scattered throughout offer significant natural shade. For canine enrichment, the park is equipped with various agility obstacles, including a ramp and weave poles. Beyond the dog-specific zones, the park includes a vibrant children's playground with slides and swings protected by a yellow shade sail. Visitors can enjoy the tranquil atmosphere provided by an adjacent lake, complete with a decorative fountain and active birdlife. Practical amenities such as benches, waste bag dispensers, and trash cans are conveniently located to ensure a comfortable and clean experience for all users. The combination of open green space and diverse facilities makes it a premier destination for local pet owners.

Too small and close to both the car and train tracks dogs tend to chase cars

Great dog park for friendly pups and owners. Only downside is the lack of maintenance within the park. It’s a giant dusty dirt bowl. Don’t go after rain, it turns into a huge mud patch.

Left a lot to be desired. Tiny dog park, dirty bench, patchy, muddy and unkempt

The dogs socialise and so do their 'parents'.
