Arana Hills Dog Park

147 Bunya Rd, Arana Hills, QLD

4.3(18 reviews)

This dog park, situated in an urban Australian environment (specifically Brisbane as indicated by local signage), provides a generous and well-maintained space for canine exercise and socialization. The park's terrain is a mix of lush green grass and worn dirt patches in high-activity areas, supplemented by concrete walking paths. It is fully secured by black chain-link fencing, featuring a professional double-gate entry system to prevent escapes. Natural shade is abundant thanks to large, mature trees, including beautiful Jacarandas that blanket the ground in purple flowers during the spring. For human comfort, several benches are scattered throughout, and a sheltered gazebo offers a central meeting point. Essential amenities are well-provided, including a water tap for hydration, multiple trash cans, and a dedicated dog waste bag dispenser. The park also includes agility equipment, such as an A-frame, to challenge active dogs. Its off-leash status makes it a popular community hub, often filled with various breeds and their owners, all set against a scenic backdrop of parkland and modern city high-rises.

Plenty of space for the dogs to run around, limited parking if driving there.

A dude from Leatherwood Drive stole my shoes. He jogs and plays Pokemon Go! daily, if you see him please call the cops.

A pretty big dog park, with a small dog area and some lights for night time. Is a bit dusty when dry and very muddy when it rains, but not much that can be done about that.

It’s my local… what can I say! I bring my dog here because it’s a shortish walk from home and it’s got all the basics. Fenced, tick. Water, tick. Agility obstacles, tick. …
